- City of Angels -

It's been two weeks since we, the girls of Raw Diamond came back from a fun filled weekend in L.A. Spent a whole lotta money, made plenty o' good memories, and gained a hefty 10 lbs.! Totally worth the $$ airfare to sunny Los Angeles, California.

Highlights:

  • experiencing thee most amaaazzzzinnggg Ban Xeos for the very first time
  • laughing till our tummies hurt and some of us farted (lol)
  • visiting shady late night massage parlors for as little as $9.99!!!
  • realizing how sketchy some parts of LA can be, namely Venice Beach and Santee Alley. There were couple instances where we had to put our cameras away in fear of being robbed. *cringes*
  • LA clubs closing earlier than Vancouver clubs. Heh, who knew...

As many times as some of us have been to LA, it's safe to say that LA never gets old.
Until next time, beautiful palm trees and shady camera-staring latinos.

Prettiest Girls by Pharrell, from Despicable Me. Catchy.

I love the Minions!!! SO CUTE I COULD DIE!!

Get Him to the Greek

Everybody needs to see this movie if they havent already.
This movie is supposed to be a spin-off sequel to Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
I didnt know this when I saw the movie, so I think I missed a joke or two.

Three things i need to point out:
- Diddy is one of the main reasons why this movie is worth seeing
-Russell Brand is pretty darn sexy playing a rockstar and his accent! Gosh...makes me weak at the knees.
- Jonah Hill is not very convincing as a pushover.

I leave you with one of my favourtie scenes:

Rosanna
When the world slips you a Jeffrey, stroke the furry walls. Stroke the furry walls.

In celebration to the launching of the short film "Anachronism" online, the screening was held last Saturday at the Chapels Arts in Vancouver. Winning 6 out of 11 nominated Leo Awards in 2009, this 14 minute drama was the first ever to be nominated for all categories in Leo Awards' history. Congratulations to my dear friend Jessica and producer of the film, who took the prestigious name of Best Short Drama home last year. The Anachronism, set in the late 19th century, unfolds an adventurous story of a paranormal encounter. I won't spoil the movie here but it does star a 10 foot tall robotic squid and adorable Ryan Grantham from the movie Jumper. When I helped out with the costumes for this movie, 12 year old Ryan told me that he has been writing scripts in hopes to direct them one day :) Watch the movie online here and stay tune to their website because the story is to be continued...
